Weekly pay in Canada
A true weekly pay schedule (52 paycheques a year) is less common than biweekly in Canada, but still used by some employers, particularly in hourly and shift-based roles. Is weekly pay the same as biweekly?
No. Weekly pay is 52 pay periods a year; biweekly is 26. A weekly paycheque is roughly half the size of a biweekly one for the same annual salary.
